Adventures at Grandma & Grandad’s

The weekend started Friday afternoon, Darcy's idea of help was to sit in the suitcase and take everything out that I had managed to pack.

On Saturday he discovered the joy of helium balloons; he loved walking around the house holding his balloon and would always find an adult to get it down for him if he lost it. He was most disappointed on Sunday morning when it was deflated.

Talking to the chooks became a favourite pastime though he lost interest when they wouldn’t really listen!

The fish were interesting for a little while....





The piano made lots & lots of noise.





Grandad's salvage at the tip was very popular and he sat there like the King while I pushed him around & around & around.



Playing in the cubby house was lots of fun!




Darcy discovered Uncle Jared's boat.



Eventually I didn't have to push him around, thank goodness.

We had a wonderful time at Grandma & Grandad's the space and the animals. All the adventures made him a tired little boy.
