Imogen has had to wear this lovely bar/brace for the last twelve weeks. Day and night, only coming off for nappy changes and baths! Initially it was just for six weeks but unfortunately her hips didn't improve so another six weeks was necessary.
Thankfully her mobility hasn't really been slowed down that much. Imogen has learnt to move backwards and roll from her stomach to her back with the brace on.
Wearing the brace hasn't affected her happiness (just mine!). I have had to remind myself that it is a necessary evil.
We had the twelve week check up on Monday. There has been an improvement with her hips!!! (Yay). She now only has to wear the brace whilst she is sleeping for another three months.
