Thanks heaps Joey!

Back in February we had Auntie Alison & her man Joey visit. Joey takes awesome photos so we had him take a few of us while they stayed.  Here are a few of my favourites.

I love this photo of Dev all spiffy for Church

This is so how Imogen used to go down the slide.

My gorgeous little man

At first I didn't like this photo cause it showed the messy room, but then it hit me it's a 'real photo'. Sunday mornings are always messy!

Lovely relaxed family photo.

Thanks heaps Joey we love the photos.

October

October saw us taking a trip to the beach with the Vellar's apparently a visit to Grandma & Grandad's house isn't complete without a trip to the beach!!

Darcy has since gotten the idea that he should wear his new bathers each and everyday.

After some initial hesitation Imogen loved the beach, oh the joy of sand.

Devin's mate Bernie had his rally car in our shed waiting to catch the Spirit of Tasmania home. Darcy had his first ride in a real rally car (only up the driveway!)

PARTY!

We headed out to the Bike Centre this afternoon to help Joshua celebrate his birthday!!

After being home for the last two days; Darcy enjoyed some fresh air and exercise. He enjoyed riding his Lighting McQueen Bike which he has out grown (hopefully Santa will bring a new one!!).

Darcy and Joshua, listening to Margaret explain the next game.

Darcy fell asleep in the taxi on the way home and slept for two hours!!
Fun = Exhaustion

Ironing

So one of the things I haven't been able to keep up with since Imogen was born is the ironing. The image below is a representation of what my ironing basket looked like earlier today (I forgot to take a before photo).

Then I had a dear friend come over early this morning offering to help me with anything........
I said if you really want to help you can do some ironing!!!! Thinking she wouldn't want to.

My ironing basket now looks like this....

Thanks so much!! (You know who you are! :)

30

On Sunday Devin celebrated his 30th Birthday. We were fortunate to have Dev's Mum come visit to help us celebrate. On Saturday we had lunch at the Country Club Casino, Links Restaurant.

Darcy slept through the main meal but woke just in time for dessert!

Dev's Mum Chris

After eating our fill we headed to City Park.

Watching the Monkeys!

Don't know what Alison's thinking in this photo.

Playing with Alison

Darcy and I had the pleasure of Alison's company on Saturday and Sunday night. She has been nice enough to spend some time with us while Devin is in Melbourne.

Darcy had a great time being pushed around in his box holding one of his new shoes.

Sick Baby

So Darcy has been sick since last week but it didn't take a really bad turn until Sunday night when he woke up at 9pm with a temperature of 40°C.

Well me being a first time Mum panicked just slightly and rang the Parenting Hotline (thank goodness it is 24 hour service). After asking me heaps of questions they said to just give him some more pandol and a tepid bath and they would ring me back in an hour to make sure his temperature had gone down.
I should point out that Devin wasn’t home but I did have our friend Alison to lend a hand; thank you Alison.
After an hour his temperature went down; thank goodness!
Here he is playing with the phone (the only thing that would make him happy) while we wait to check his temperature again. He doesn’t really look sick does he?
